Meet The Founder
Gerard Martinet’s journey in the security industry began at the age of 18, and over more than four decades, he has built a reputation for providing expert security consulting services. Born in Mauritius in 1962 and raised in Western Australia, Gerard’s family has a long history of service in the police force, with both his father, Roger, and grandfather, Gabriel, serving in the Mauritian police before and after World War II. This legacy shaped Gerard’s approach to security, deeply ingraining a sense of responsibility and trust in the work he does.
After completing his studies in Australia and earning his Diploma in Security Operations in 1998, Gerard moved into senior management roles, including Head of Security for the Capital City of Perth, a position he held for nine years. His expertise spans across government agencies, the corporate sector, and private security ventures, all of which have given Gerard the opportunity to refine his skills and develop a keen understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer), long before it became a buzzword in modern business.
Gerard returned to Mauritius in 2024, bringing his international expertise home. As a consultant, his role is clear: assist businesses, properties, and individuals in sourcing the best security service providers available in Mauritius, ensuring value for money, accountability, and high-quality solutions.
